Our laboratory is supported by NIH funding from the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Our research has two major areas of focus.

Drug-seeking studies

One area focuses on the neural circuits underlying drug-seeking behavior using cocaine self-administration in rats. For more on this, go here.

Memory consolidation work

The other part of our research focuses on the neurobiology underlying memory consolidation, using different learning and memory tasks with rats. If you want to learn more about our memory consolidation work, go here.
